Kentaur “Vertebra by Vertebra” has been released on No3/Sony
Soundvenue: 5 star review
“Vertebra by Vertebra is a small but colossal creature, with five sensitive and alternative poptracks, that match the mythic name of Kentaur. In a symbiotic state between light and darkness, the organic and electronic, the trio have created a univers of a highly melodic quality and with a high level of detail. It is a very impressive debut with it’s own signature soul and sound.”

5 star concert review: Rhye Warm Up 2015.
”As an obvious candidate for the warmup gig for Rhye, the Danish Band Kentaur played trancendental melancholic R’n’B. In spite of a predominantly acoustic instrumentation it was possible for the ensemble to perform their songs with an emotional power and let their compositions become powerfull energetic outlets. The Band had and atmospheric elegance, that made room for a playfull and blooming color of sound. A band of high quality.”

“Un Camino Fractal”
“ A Fractal Path: Tread upon by masters alike. Illumine the map and show me the pathless land. Why did you choose for me to fall through these endless caves? Only to fall at your feet like a stolen child, hurt by your indifferent gaze. Is this your acid grace. It this your choice or mine ?”
Such are the opening words on “Un Camino Fractal”. The underlying narrative of the ep is an inner quest of moving from despair to a sense of reconciliation with fate. While moving through a multitude of musical genres and sonic landscapes, the ep’s primary purpose is a spiritual one. Asking question that are not for the faint hearted and providing comfort for the ones who are inclined to ask.

5 Star review of a concert at “Musik i Lejet”.
”(…) the power of the music gave me goosebumps. These impressive, thoughtfull og deep songs ended the concert in the most beautiful of ways and even with an additional sunset and calming sound of the sea. It was cinematic.
In spite of Gabriels music would have been better served in the late hours and with a lager audience the band was able to give its audience a huge experience in their own and very unpredictable univers. A univers i will be looking forward to explore more in the future.
